While collaborating with the editorial and design team, templated layouts for Canadian Geographic were developed. These layouts supported a range of content—including wildlife features, interviews, travel stories, destination highlights, and internal advertisements
Constraints
Working within magazine design often means balancing content with fixed layouts. At times, text may exceed the available space, or images may not align well with the accompanying copy. While adjustments to the layout could resolve these issues, such changes are not always feasible when working within predefined templates.




Outcome
Managing a high volume of content—including text, imagery, and editorial concepts—resulted in the successful production of six issues for Canadian Geographic over the year.
